Yes. I does DefenderGuard protection, which prevents your real time protection, both firewall and Windows Defender from being disabled. You can check that on the DefenderGuard tab.

No, I got out of the habit of doing a changelog with VS, and never did one with DefenderUI. It would be super boring anyway, the tweaks since the initial release have mostly been just silly stuff, no major bugs.

Pro has a VS Lite version along with the normal DUI features, which is why users shouldn't run Pro with VS.

I don't know the reason it's not offered for sale. Maybe Dan is just too busy with other things. In any case, you can download Pro from the link in this thread and run it for free as "Beta tester".

I would never try to run ConfigureDefender and DefenderUI on the same pc they overlap way to much. So my guess is yes that's your problem.
