Norton Internet Security is pretty good.

Fast, light, superb performance and applicable for novice and advance users.

Indeed. But Norton shows his real skills while malicous code is executed (same as Webroot), but all of those tests are only on demand scans.

Norton File/Download Insight appear for every download?

And is it possible to turn off scheduled scans?

Actually that feature from Norton makes it as backbone and most contributed feature as percentage made it better from detection.

RE: pablozi's config

One more time my setup has been changed.
Now again I'm going to try another "no AV" config which is AppGuard + SpyShelter Firewall. No problems so far, very light and effective setup.
Also WOT has been added do Firefox.

Never tried App Guard. I am thinking of using Windows firewall notifier.

Then you should try it. Within last few days it became one of my favorite apps.

It looks sort a like an HIPS. I would preffer Winpatrol or Spyware Terminator.
