Hi, better (100%) solution is to NOT go on pornhub, like me ...
The choice of site was due to it being of the sort with the most potentially shady advertising. It is not uncommon for this type of site to have bad ads. I’m sure it was purely academic, just as @Burrito was saying ;)

In seriousness, other sites can serve shady ads as well, but it’s easiest to test where it’s most common.

To be clear I am not conducting testing on PH, or otherwise. I actually believe your advice is fairly sound. I try to leave that sort of testing to others. :ROFLMAO:
Yeah!

So to have sure defense against redirects, I use Redirect Control.

Disable HTML5 Autoplay
Disable HTML5 Autoplay in about:config if you use Firefox ...:

media.autoplay.enabled - set to false.

"Boostaler Browser Extension" - It makes sites load much FASTER.
All it does is increasing the cache (extending life time).

This is exactly what digital marketeers want, infinite cookie life time, infinite long refresh life time of images.

Ideal for people who when you never delete their browsing history, opt-in to every customer loyalty scheme and don't use ad-blockers

Not suited for the average MT-forum member IMO

I'm using SmartAdBlock, Privacy Badger and Disable HTML5 Autoplay. Very simple setup but effective enough for my browsing habits. :)
(y) SmartAdblock is Adblocklus and Strict pooup blocker in one, no issues with Smartadblock blocking to much?

Actually the main reason why im using SmartAdBlock is its memory usage. And yes if you enable all ad filter lists, it blocks too much. But with defaults it works just fine for me.

I tested uBlockorigin with only Adguard filters and although uB0 skips some AG rules it can block the nasty popups (y)

So running uBlock with AdGuard filters only seems to work well also
Since the Adguard Base list is originally based on EasyList but with less in numbers and more effective filters, after seeing your test currently I'm using uBlock Origin with EaslyList disabled. Previously I had both enabled. Now less filters for my adblocker but same adblocking protection (y)

Nahh, EasyList is necessary. Here's one example. Ads on duckdukgo isn't blocked by Adguard Base list but EasyList does. So, enabled EasyList again (y)

Nice list, I might copy one or two things. You might want to consider:

By the way, adguard has a stealth mode, that replaces extensions like clearurls or blockwebrtc. ;)

But no, it's easy !!
Thanks for the kick in the right direction, I have figured out how to work the tags and filters, like: adguard + privacy, malware + maintainers, that cleared it a bit. Then I have found out, that energized also offers separate tracking and malware lists. I though, that they were only included within their adblocking lists, that I generally avoid, since huge adblocks can cause slow downs, still 700K+ list does as well. :D

My current filter list setup with no EasyList blocks it, no custom filter for DDG.

Maybe the ad didn't load in your ddg. Try searching the exact same thing as mine. Or maybe some other filter list is blocking the ad for you.
You may check that in uBlock Origin's log. If you see this then check whether any filter is applied to this. 1.PNG
