Lots of members on here still listen to Hard rock/metal. Some of them seem to post a lot less now days.I think the friends in the forum listen to more slow music .Who listens to korn , Metallica , Rammstein ….
I find myself listening lesser to heavier hard rock, but i do like many rock bands like Metallica and some of my favs are Nirvana and The Offspring.

Im just older now, grew up on that music, but have mellowed out since.

I like rock music, different variations of it. I never really liked real heavy metal, don't care for Sabbath or Ozzy very much but I do listen to Priest and Maiden, and have a few of their early records in my collection. I like a lot of older rock and hard rock from the 70's and 80's. My absolute #1 favorite band will always be Rush. I don't like much music at all from the 2000's, for me there were just a few good bands from that time. Collective Soul is one. So is Matchbox 20. I also like some of the 80's pop and British New Romantic era stuff like Spandau Ballet, INXS, Duran Duran, and Roxy Music, even though Roxy got started way before then. No offense to anyone here but I cannot stand grunge, nu-metal or industrial. In the last few years I have gotten into some of the Scandinavian/AOR/ European rock. There are good bands and not so good bands in that genre too. Work of Art is one of my favorites but they are not together any more. Musical talent and good songwriting is what I look for most in any music.
