New single from the new album from Boys From Heaven. This band picks up where Toto and Phil Collins left off. The album was released today. Soild AOR, this one.

Nice, and interesting. There is a bit of Hue Lewis and The News in it to. I have to listen to the full album.

What does - AOR, mean?

I like the sort of desperation in his voice when he sings "thank you". It makes it sound more honestly meantioned and gives the text a deeper validity. A text that i suppose is written out of life experience.

It is a very good song, I think the Boys From Heaven The Wanderer album is overall good, I think their previous album The Descendant was better than this new one though. It had more of a mature 80's groove to it, and really showed the band's influence from Toto. The band is very much influended by Toto, Phil Collins and maybe to a lesser degree Chicago. Talk Without Speaking is also a great record, I have been listening to it a lot but I do not really like their older material. It's just not my speed I guess.

AOR is an abbreviation for Album Oriented Rock. AOR is more of a polished adult sound, unlike metal or Top 40/pop, it is more of a tight rock performance sound. AOR is usually characterized by very high quality production and is mixed and mastered very well. AOR really got its start in the 1970's. Boston, Journey, Chicago, Toto, Foreigner, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles are all well-known as having an AOR type sound. AOR is more like what you would expect to hear on an adult-oriented radio station. To me it is more about musical talent, great songwriting and performance than anything else.

I always thought this link has a good list of AOR albums, but there are so many more out there, both past and present.

There is a lot of good music out there. I am creating myself a list of classical music that is light, musical and easy to listen to as an everyday flow in the background.
This one is on that list:

I had no idea Shadowra likes Japanese anime and music! Personally, I watch a lot of anime and listen to Japanese music quite often. I've also collected a number of Japanese collaboration keyboards. I'm actually not sure which specific forum section or category is appropriate for sharing hardware/keyboards here? I would love to showcase my keyboard and keycap collection, and also share the music I'm currently listening to.

New product on the way, this song is a hint.

It is something I have pondered for 30+ years and finally figured out how to build it.

It is not cybersecurity related and not part of VoodooSoft, but I think you guys will find it quite interesting at least. If things go according to plan, it should be ready some time next week.
