Now that it is i am going to install it.

Updated from v55 to v57 a few days a go and noticed big improvements in speed straightaway most of my addons stopped working and it was a pain in the arse to find replacements for them now Firefox v57.0b3 x64 is my default browser

That's because you are probably using 3rd party IDM extension and not original like I do.

I seen on here quite a few of you in here like Firefox 57 beta and giving it the thumbs up, so I figured I would give it a try. Wow was I impressed, the speed of the browser is great. I would say faster than Chrome. It's my go to browser using 57.04beta. Thanks for the tip my fellow MalwareTips com rads.

I am impressed with FF 56 with performance improvements on stock FF w/o addons. With addons the usage of RAM increased by 200-400MB but no more stutters and actually is more faster than chrome.

Fast like Chrome is very nice. Now we just need to know if it's just as safe as Chrome or Edge.

I thought it was pure Mozilla marketing stating that it is faster than Chrome, but I did the test here, impressive the speed and fluidity of this new Firefox, if it continues this way, it will be my main browser when it launches.
