@Laoel, I know what the problem is. You have currently the latest Snapshot installed that was realeased before the 1.0 Stable. Basically that last snapshot was the same as the Stable, but they set it that if you are using one of those builds, then you are in the Stable stream and don't recieve shapshot updates anymore. The snapshots are were new features are added. If they are stable enough, they will release a new stable release and then you will be prompted to update Vivaldi in your case (= if you are in the stable stream currently). If you want following the the new snapshots (which might contain new bugs since those are experimental builds like I said) and thus have the newest features dirctly, then you have to download the latest snapshot (see links above) and install it over the Vivaldi you have now (no need to uninstall first). But keep in mind that if you want to go back then to the stable (idk why you should do that but anyway), it can be the case that you lose your bookmarks then, since the profiles doesn't match. But to upgrade now from stable to snapshot, it shouldn't be a problem. I'm using the snapshots btw and no real problems so far, and if there are some, they are fixed within a week or so.

I think of installing the beta version ... But I'll wait out the new stable release!

Today's snapshot has a fix for problems with keyboard shortcuts, introduced in the previous snapshot. This is release candidate 2 for Vivaldi 1.1. Let us know if you see any major issues.

As mentioned with RC1, even if no further major issues are found, Vivaldi will be rebuilt for the stable update stream before it is released.

I'm liking that Vivaldi is keeping up with latest version of Blink. Still going to wait a bit before trying again due to the whole Xmarks crashing the whole browser fiasco. May even be worth just waiting until a stable x64 is released. If I had Linux installed beside Windows still I'd try an see if it happens on there to. Guess that is something I should looking into with VM.

Yet again we introduce quite a few of improvements, so let’s dive in without too much ado. First we’d like to discuss gestures, the ability to issue commands with help of drawn shapes. With some of you excited and some of you disappointed by lack of flexibility, we hope to address both groups by expanding the feature by recordable gestures.

Doodle your commands

In addition to existing gesture set, we bring you option to create new command gestures, or edit and remove existing ones. New gestures are added by recording hand-drawn shapes, subsequently translated to a final gesture consisting of up to five horizontal or vertical strokes.

I tried vivaldi yesterday under Shadow Defender.
I installed flash player for chromium but when i wanted to watch a movie i got a message <player not found>.
Except that when i went to adobe site to download flash player a message was telling me that i had flash installed but it is disabled.
I went to vivaldi plugins but no flash wasn't installed to enable it.
Does anyone knows what this is?
