Good news for everyone!

A new version of the beta build is available for download and testing.

You can download the version from the links below

Download from ownCloud
Download from Kaspersky Box

Can be activated only through Internet. Beta-license is valid for 90 days.

Before installation of the new build, please uninstall the previous build (sometimes kavremover may be needed) and reboot the system

Advices for novice testers
  • Do not proceed with testing without reading the instructions;
  • All found bugs should be posted in the related topics so it would be wise to read their headers at first. Bug reports should contain all useful info (it will be clear after reading the instruction from p.1);
  • The most convenient way to upload big files (traces or dumps): in .zip archive on OwnCloud.;
  • Traces as well as app and driver verifiers are enable in this build.
  • This area of forum is not connected to Tech Support (Bugs of Beta-products are collected here)
Additional Information

Please don't post on the beta forum if you are not participating in the beta testing.
Full info: KAV\KIS\KTS\KFA\KS\KSOS: 20.0.5.852 RC

Installing this rekt a good part of an hour. First the GUI never loads at all after install. 2 it slows the computer to a crawl, (low CPU use, so its obviously something else), and renders it completely unusable, (had to pull power) I had to boot into safe mode and use the removal tool. I have a high end Windows 10 latest patched machine. Installing this beta is a epic bust.

Installing this was like installing malware. Very sad day. I love Kapersky but don't install this one guys.

And that's why I avoid testing beta software on a production machine :)

I think already explained this before, but will do again :)

This is absolutely normal: every of these beta versions KIS/KAV/KTS... once installed traces (also KSeC -> VPN) and Driver & Application Verification are enabled, so You have to disable traces in main product KIS/KTS/KAV and also in KSeC, and disable SelfDefense, find 2 keys in Windows registry and delete them -> to disable Drv. & App. Verification, enable again SeflDefense and reboot the system to apply the changes... all these steps are well explained in Beta Testing Guide thread;)

After that, the product will work pretty faster, although You still may get some dumps and isues, because this is still a beta, and delvelopers still making changes...

Seems pretty unneccsary as I have never used the product on the machine tested. And these things should be automated with the installer. Bad Developement on their part, I don't care if its kapersky or a kid in a basement. And if its a "known" issue, it should have been resolved already before releasing another version so other bugs can be found. These things can be written into the code. Don't try to put the blame on me or be an elitist jerk know it all towards the tester for providing feedback. Thats the purpose of beta testing.

Well, this is Your opinion of course, and I think tagging that "as bad development on their part" is a bit daring on your part...

I'm not getting the issue You are referring and I'm using to test my humble main real system (AMD Athlon II X3 3,2Ghz + 8GB RAM + 2 SSD: Samsung 850 Pro for the system + Crucial MX300 500GB for data), and it is running quite fluently here even after making some strong tweaks in Application Control.

Just join the beta forum and report Your issue adding traces...
